    Anyone?

I'd like something other than the 40 dollar Century Student Judo Gi. They shrink way too much.

I've been using a kickskin for like 18 months and it's still like new pretty much. :dunno: I think it was 75 bucks or so, which is still a lot cheaper than most.

Check the link thread as drag mentioned.

I recommend atama and koral brands. I also have a vulkan, but I don't like it much, the interior fabric is kinda rough.
The atama pants are super comfy and quality, I swear if they had pockets, I would wear them as normal pants.

if you don't mind buying stuff off ebay, there's a dude there selling a plain goldweave (ultralight) gi starting at $24. I think the guy only has an A1 and A4 sizes left. If it means anything i'm 155 pounds, 5'6 and the a1 is just perfect (barely legal) It's a one piece fabric, and the collar is actually thicker than a koral gi.

Beyond this, there's always the HCK single standard gi for $50.
Or you could wait for www.mmawarehouse.com to throw another 15% off coupon and get a gameness gi there. Or if you're a fatty, go to www.siriusathletics.com and go look at the clearance section for gi, you can pick up some decent deals there.

Hell, if you're not opposed to getting a red gi, www.chokesports.com 95 dollars for an Isami single weave. Reviews for the isami gi from this guy http://mareviews.blogspot.com/2007/02/isami-single-weave-kimono.html
and another one from my friend, i got one for him as a gift, here's his review:

    hope this helped :)

I bought a kikskin for about 90 bucks. My instructor recommended them as well, so we'll see.
