I can't bench properly, so I bench with my elbows inwards -- instead of flared outwards. Anyways, as a result, i've got some good development in my triceps but nothing in my chest. Is there anything I can do to hit my chest hard enough without doing bench press for a while? (just until I know what's going on with my shoulder)

    cable crossover

    db flys

I have a problem with my shoulder too as I cannot do incline bench or incline DB bench, yet i can do flat bench and flys just fine. I also use the machines for incline to at least get something in there.

unless you like shoulder injuries, your elbows are supposed to be tucked in. get your grip out wider and you will hit you chest harder instead of your triceps

elbows tucked puts more on your tri's. Tucked is proper for weight, but for hypertrophy you don't want to tuck.

Exactly, lift hard and heavy while eating alot (cleanly of course). If you want to grow you have to eat, now I'm not saying gorge on McD's all the time but just remeber...

If you want to get big you have to: Eat Big, Sleep Big and Lift Big.

Wide grip w/a pause on the chest is what works for me. Also, I get a lot more growth from incline, I like to do them b4 flat at least every other WO.
