I guess ever since I sold my '99 M3 last year I haven't really been keeping up with things. I opened up the paper and see the new 1 series Bimmer and new V8 M3. I'm thinking of getting a 135i with the 300hp and 3300lb curb weight :bowdown:I'm sure the M3 will easily run $30K more and only does the 0-60 in .3 seconds faster according to BMW. :noes:

If you load up on options like heated seats/sports/premium package the 135 will run you almost 50 grand though, it's not exactly cheap.

:eek4: That's what they SHOULD be charging for the M3, well MSRP is something like 55K but I don't know anyone who got one for less than $65. One reason I don't love BMW anymore.

I wanted one myself, but then I priced it out with an out the door price of something like 51k and said no fucking way.
It's a pretty sweet car, but costs about 10K too much.

Exactly, I'd rather just get a corvette for that much, although I do realize they are not exactly in the same category.

M3 price is not surprising considering how much an RS4 costs. That being said, you're better off just getting a GT-R and shitting on everyones face
