GUN where the fuck to find some cheap receiver castle nuts?

  8. Some people will have you stake the castle nut (actually, you're staking the receiver end plate) so that the castle nut can't loosen. I didn't stake mine, and it has never budged.

    whats a quick ghetto way to tighten the castle nut without a wrench?
     
  10. You could try using something like a strap wrench. The proper wrench is only like $5.

    hopefully i jumped on a Polish Tantal kit in time, so i might need some advice on that :x:

    Brownells Gunkoat. I have a bottle I just got to refinish my other rusted one. It's easy, cheesy.

    yeah. but only because ours were completely rusted (look for my thread). Don't know if you'd need to on one that's already coated. just degrease the shit out of it. I think Keesh said he'd heard of people doing it before and it works fine. :dunno:
