question about holsters for the class: i have a galco concealable for my Sig, but i was thinking about getting a bladetech kydex one - either their belt holster, or the drop/offset one.

    suggestions?

If not using your usual carry rig, get something as close to it as possible. Don't mess with offset or drop, especially when you're just getting training started.

yeah, the galco is the only holster i own for it - so obviously i have the most experience with it.

i'll just stick with the galco

Galco's are usually decent holsters, if its what you plan on carrying in, it'd be best to stick with it. No better opportunity to learn and practice drawing from concealment.

its not really high on my list of priorities. i'm on campus for just under 40 hours a week, so i can't carry then. cant carry at work, and i might not even be in merced for much more than a year :dunno:

so i would spend a few hundred bucks getting it, face the possibility of being turned down, be able to carry for only a few hours here and there during the week and on the weekends, then not be able to renew it if i move back home after graduation? no thanks :dunno:

    non-refundable? :hsugh:

not asking bc i care about your situation, that'd just be fucked up if you pay all that shit and don't get your money back if you're turned down.
