I have recently been having some trouble with the local pro shop and am looking for another place. I have used sams for color prints and they generally do a really good job, although their black and whites always carry some hue. Anyone try mpix.com's true black and white? I just ordered 4 prints and am curious to see how they will come out

Have you been happy with them? I checked the box telling them not to mess with the colors..is that wise? Did you calibrate your monitor with a puck based system or what?

Also, have you tried their 'true b&w'?

If you calibrated your monitor, then yes the right choice would be to tell them not to mess with your colors.

Yup. What's the point of editing your photos if your monitor isn't calibrated? Let me adjust the white balance, oops it was already white balanced b ut my monitor is warm. :jerkit:

It's not vey pretty, but if you print a lot, you can save a lot of money with them. I save about $10 buying 1 220ml vs. two 110ml..
