They just dont seem to be there, i create new ones and nothing happens, is there some hot key that i hit that hides them? Ive tried everythi8ng i can think of, changing the resolution to see if they got moved off the screen and stuff, they are not set to be translucent or anything. is there a way i can re-install just stickies?

try hitting f10 to expose all windows within this app....? :dunno: (it would move them onscreen if they're still there)

and i've never opened the stickiesdb file, but that could be a place to look

Why is the stickies application still included if the dashboard widget exists?

he's talking about tiger. from the looks of your screenshot, you're not running tiger yet, so ignore the widget comments.

what kind of mac is this running on?

if it's a desktop machine, do you by chance have a second video card in it that you aren't currently using? i ask, because i had a similar problem a while back and tracked it down to some weirdness causing OS X to think there was still a monitor connected to my second (PCI) video card. the stickies had somehow found their way to the desktop of the other video card's output even though there was no screen.
