I think his hand and other injuries are all almost healed up. Him and Randy Couture went to Iraq to greet troops and there are pictures of him rolling with a bunch of army guys on his website. Can't wait to see him back to defend his title.

He's fighting A. Silva for the title at UFC 64.
Kenny Florian vs Sean Sherk at the same show for the LW title.

I'm pretty confident Franklin will successfully defend his title, but man...Kenny is going to have a tough time with Sherk. Kenny's brother is my jiu jitsu coach so I've been a fan of Kenny before TUF 1 aired. But he has to develop a much better wrestling game. He has great ground skills, he just has a hard time getting guys down there. His muay thai is real solid, but Sherk is a good boxer as well. Sherk is also a phenomenal wrestler. I got to experience first hand as he was a counselor at a camp I went to. They called him the leprachaun (sp) there haha. So pretty much Sherk is going to be able to dictate the fight.

in fer good fights. I think KenFlo has as much of a chance against sherk as leben did against silva, he could get demolished just as fast,or he may suprise us.
Id LOVE to see frank / silva turn into a great fight, but i really hope rich wins in the end, starting to like him more and more after seeing more of his fights , and he seems to be a real cool dude.

there's really not much to hate about the guy. I don't really dislike him as a fighter.

I don't think Rich would ever slack. I was reading this interview with Billy Rush and he was saying how Rich Franklin is probably the most unathletic person he has ever trained, but the most disciplined and hard working. That's what I love about the guy. He wasn't some wrestling phenom when he was a kid, or any sort of athlete really. He was just some 6ft 130 pound kid that decided he wouldn't let anything stop his dream from coming true.

Werd. Rich is the man, watching that all access thing on him a while back really opened my eyes to how hard he trains and how determined he is. He's been my favorite Mid since his win over Shamrock. I doubt Silva will win, but I can see a good battle happening.
