defense pistol #1(Kimber Pro Carry II loaded w/1 in chamber) is in computer desk drawer. defense pistol #2 is in guest bathroom cabinet(Kel-Tec P11 loaded w/1 in chamber). bed-side defense gun is a 1300 defender. it's loaded but empty chamber i have cats that like to jump on stuff and wouldn't want it to go off just because the cats were being rambunctious. there are a couple other guns/weapons stashed about, but those are the main 3.

:werd: I dont really plan to use the SAR or even the mossberg for home defense, but I figure since they dont fit in the safe may as well have them ready to go, got a few more guns under the bed unloaded, dont think an Enfield or M44 mosin would be good choice for home defense :eek3:

1911 cocked and locked between the mattress and box frame with enough of the grip sticking out for me to grab.

M500 is cruiser ready propped up next to the bed.

SO's PPK/s full mag, 1 in the chamber on the nightstand on her side of the bed.

Multiple guns and plenty of ammo stashed around the house. All guns are loaded, but locked in quick access lockboxes.

Yeah, that would be fun explaining to the officer..

"Err, sir, how exactly did this happen again? You say he managed to take your bayonet off your rifle, but slipped and fell into the oven, simultaneously stabbing himself? And then he charged you, while afire, and you shot him and managed to retrieve your bayonet, without using your hands?"

    "Yep, that's basically it."

"Ok then. Have a nice night."

    "You too, Officer."

the handgun is the backup, but on the shelf of the nightstand, hammer dropped on a loaded chamber.

My primary weapon is a M500, chamber empty, loaded with hornady TAP 00 buck.
