Something not cheap as all hell but something that isnt outrageously expensve... a different shape other than the standard rectangle might be good too...

I used a local place, but will be looking elsewhere for my next batch.

go rectangle man, nothing worse than stupid shaped business cards that dont fit, get lost, etc.

I guess I was thinking more of just rounded corners... but still fit in the standard rectangle format.

I never actually realized just how much clint's cards inspired mine. Although, I did have my design mocked up for a while. The note box on the back I took from him though. :)

I had mine done at the same place. No spot gloss though. $175 for 1000 with the rounded edges.

Here was my proof. they turned out fantastic and people love the cards.

Clint: Did you design your logo yourself? I've always thought it was brilliant.

If someone else did it, who?

Pretty sure he did it himself. Very clever.

The rounded corners are actually more convenient for me, they don't bend as easily at the corners. Most standard business cards i put in my wallet look like 4yr old baseball cards after 1 week.

Ive used vista print. I was unimpressed. I could see the dot screen in the cards pretty bad. I think they used a standard offset printer. Im not sure what tasteofink uses but the quality is 1000x better.

My wife uses them for her flyers. They're ok for normal stuff, not too great when you want to be detailed or artistic.

Tried out their business cards and I think they are fine. Its a card with some info on it thats either getting thrown away or kept somewhere to be reminded of who to use for a service occasionally.

I also just ordered 8.5x5x5 flyers from them for a bridal show this weekend. They will work fine and were cheap. This is my first bridal show so I didn't wanna spend alot until I know how it goes and you can really get into some money having printing done. Paper stock is good and image quality is good. Only the pickiest customers could notice that they aren't photo quality.

Your marketing towards that exact clientele. And they will notice and it will impact your bookings, unless your price matches the quality :hs:

??? How am I marketing to picky customers? If I saw a picky customer I'd run, I hate them :)

By "notice the difference" I was sorta meaning that they'd have to either

    A) have a loop handy

    or

    B) Be in a job where they have developed an eye for noticing a difference of a few DPI.

have you not shot a wedding before? Their going to be picky as hell

and at a wedding show, they can directly compare your promo materials to all those around you
