I'm not a professional photographer by any means but I do like it as a side hobby. I've developed film at local stores like Target and Wal-Mart. Target has a cleaner look to their pictures as opposed to Wal-Mart which has a more greenish tint.

I've also developed film from what was then called Seattle FilmWorks. I think they're called Photoworks now.

But the best I've come across has got to be Ritz Camera at the local malls. Pictures really come out looking like postcards especially when they add on the white borders. It's great for landscape photography but gets a little saturated with people pics.

    Where do you get yours?

If I do a professional job, I go to Wolf camera or our local lab. If I'm just taking pics of the family or other snapshots, I take my film to Walmart.

When I don't have access to the school darkroom I go to Costco or Ritz/Wolf if I feel like paying more for bordered prints.

    What's film?:dunno:
Anytime I have film, or get any prints I go to Ritz.:)
However, Sams club has the exact same machine now that they upgraded their photolabs (out here anyway) and they're much cheaper and still take the time to go through each fram individually.

So Ritz and Sam's club use the same machine?
BTW, is it possible to request toning down the saturation a bit? It does get carried away sometimes, especially when I use a circular polarizer.
