I usually get my inkjet cartridges from retail stores like Best Buy, Target, etc...

    Where do you buy yours?

I've heard that some website "inkjet refill" websites are a joke...

There's got to be a website that has them for cheaper than retail stores.

Actually I'd be interested in this too. We just bought our first InkJet printer, so no previous experience with this, we always had to order our toner cartridges direct from Lexmark.

If you use an Inkjet Refill kit then you void your printer warranty.
I always just buy new cartidges from the store, don't have to worry about me screwing something up.

Voids the warrantee on the whole printer? How would they know? If it breaks, just swap them out for some non-refilled ones.

As far as I know, yes, the whole printer. And, alas, some people aren't that smart, they'll refill their starter cartidge till the printheads are dead, then try to get the HP guys to fix their "faulty" printer.

Frys. I replaced the color cartridge on my old printer. was getting a message that the printer could not read it. Bought a new one, generic brand, worked for a while then got the same message again. For the price of cartridges, you can almost buy a whole new printer. I ended up getting a new HP All-in-One with networking capability.
