I usually buy mine at walmart because all I do is just mess around with my shotgun, no hunting or anything just target shooting. But I saw a few sites online where you can buy ammo, does anyone do this? Is it cheaper or what?

oh and by the way, I have absolutely no idea what the different types of shotgun ammo are...so usually when i buy i just get target load or something :dunno:

Target 9mm and target 12ga from Walmart. .223 from gun shows surplus. I don't really worry about 22lr very much. Even the expensive stuff is pretty cheap.

I plan on starting to reload my own ammo for .40S&W soon.

I'll be able to reload for ~$0.145 per round or $14.50 per 100 rounds. That's about $5 cheaper than I've seen for any other box of 100.

i buy my 12ga ammo from sportsmans guide... 85 plus shipping for 250rds, then use a 10 dollar off coupon(buy a box of something else) and its a pretty good deal.
