yeah, when i was at school they had an aveda institute. haircut was $15 by a student and they have a professor who checks on everything before you leave.

but now that i've graduated, i can't really go there cuz its about a hour drive from here. and even if i go to a real aveda salon, their stylists do a poor job :hs:

It's about finding a stylist who fits your style.

I'm white, and goto "american stylists" usually, and usually bounce around the salon until I find someone I like.

Or go to the Vidal Sasoon academy in Santa Monica. My friend went there and it's still the best haircut I've ever gotten. But now, I shave my head, so it's a moot point.

I'm a honkey and I go to my cousin. She works at a salon here in San Diego. I tell her to do whatever she wants and it always looks good.

As a kid who got his hair fucked up by someone at a regular haircut place, I've never gone back.

A Japanese guy does my hair.

I pay more than I would like to, but I don't want to go around finding someone who does as good a job. :hsd:

I used to go to this Vietnamese dude, but he gave everyone the typical AZN haircut. buzzed on the sides and like 2-3" on top :o

then I started going to a stylists. They weren't bad, but they could never get it exactly how I wanted.

Now I just do it myself with clippers, scissors and a mirror...including the highlights...and everyone says I've never looked better :hs:

48$. I dont really have a hairstyle though. Plus I only get haircuts once in a while. Not like a monthly thing.

I went to Cost Cutters once because I was leaving on vacation and put off a haircut on last minute. By chance I found this really good girl that works there and now I always get it done by her.

my bill for my cut and color for my bro's wedding topped $200. It was a good haircut, but for something that I'm just gonna have to do again in 3 weeks it really wouldn't be even close to worth it for anything other than a really special occasion.

my girlfriend cuts my hair most of the time, but the last time I went to a Korea place who cut it for $30, which was way too much for the quality of the job.

I used to pay $20 back home in Indianapolis at a country club salon, and she was awesome.

I want a new hair style, though. I just don't know what I want yet
