I wish i had a before pic but i don't.. however, this is me now after 12 months of dieting, went from 160lbs to 124lbs.

I am trying very hard to lose the fat at my lower belly but I can't seem to reduce it without sacrificing muscle mass. My arms have gotten smaller too.

I am trying to follow the routine in the sticky but it's not working out for me. Do I need to be on a stricter diet and do more cardio to loss the lower belly area?

    How did they test you?

Post your daily diet also, so we can help.

    In for answer.

That's a better diet than mine and I'm struggling to hit BF% in the high teens.

i was in my best shape a couple of months ago but i feel like i am regressing now.

i do weights mon, wed, fri.

medium cardio on tuesday and thursday which consists for running in intervals, up and down 3 flights of stairs 10x, and then ab work outs ( plank, leg raises, 100 mason twists on a decline, and 100 sit ups )

Look into carb cycling, and adjust it as necessary for gains with minimal fat gain.

    Word of caution.

After i cut down to really lean (and sacrificed a little too much muscle and strength to get rid of that last little bit of belly fat), i then started bulking back up with an eye out for not gaining hardly any fat. after 3 months of virtual maintenance, i realized i could have just bulked and gained a little and dieted it back off by then, and been out and out ahead of where i was with my "no fat gain" approach.

from personnal experience: dieting back down the second go round is 100% easier than the first time around. From the knowledge you've gained, from knowing what to expect, from being prepared for it, from having your mind right, and from realizing you probably can get 95% of the same results with 80% of the same discipline level.

But seriously, 5'6 125 lbs is a really bad weight for a dude to have. Time to man up and eat more!

id advise against that, initially most people stick to that, but then boredom of food choices hits and it becomes all out dirty bulk
