I met my gf on Halo. Not even joking. One night me and a buddy of mine, who lives in the same town as me, were playing Halo 3 on XBL and we met this other guy from WI. So we partied up with him, that guys actually a really close friend of mine now too. So we played a couple more games and found two more people from WI. All on just the random pairings that is XBL, we were searching for anyone in our area or anything. Long story short, one of those two people ended up being pretty cool, we met, hung out, fell in love blah blah blah blah blah here we are today.
met her in class in my second year of college. funny thing was the first time we talked we were talking shit to each other in our group project hahaha
She found me on Myspace Italy (not sure why My name came up). It was her first time using the internet and she said my blogs were "mindblowing and interesting." Apparently she had her mother read them too and she said "You should message him, he seems so smart!"
Unfortunately reality and what things seem are quite far apart sometimes, but she does love me and we've been together for 2 years.
after breaking up with gf, i was picking up my shit at her house - my current gf was there and i was introduced, from there we talked online shortly after, 8yrs strong now
at a party
Wife knew a married couple that knew my friend and his wife. They thought we would be a good match.

Asked her out for a drink that night and to get her number she asked me to sing her a song..(the bar had keryoky sp??) and i said You make me feel like a woman...

i worked with her, she was one of my best friends, then became my boss. kinda just fell in together, dated privately @ work, then when i was laid off we went public. getting married in october.
Haha, wow, that's amazing
did the long distance thing through 4 years of college, and here we are today.
In high school.
Met on datehookup.com, been together over a year now, getting married next May.
My cousin moved out of state and eventually introduced me online to a friend of his. We became friends and when I met him in person several years later, something clicked between us. We started a LDR a month later, and have been together since, over 2.5 years, getting married in November.
She was a friend of a friend, and we starting dating when we were at sixteen. Been together 11 years now (with about a year apart in there), married for one.
Best friend met him online while talking to random people one day- introduced us a few years later. We met, fell in love, blah blah blah We were LDR our first 2 years. It'll be 6 years on the 18th.
Friend of mine also chatted on the university IRC server. She chatted in the same channel as her older brother who was friends with my husband. Both circle of friends regularly hung out and we started chatting as well as hanging out "AFK". Both out of relationships and weren't interested in another, so we were friends. Chatted a lot, shared a lot, and it just progressed
didnt realize so many people met their SO online.. was that your last resort or did it just kind of happen? seems like a lot of the people on dating sites are like, yeah ive tried the dating scene, failed, checking this out now
I have been online since I was 11. My husband is in IT and has been online since he was like 13 or something.
It's no different to kids who hang out at the mall or skate park. The internet is our playground
i resorted to online dating because i honestly did not go out much I was busy with work and my family life that I had no time and going to the party/club scene wasn't my thing.
But not only that, I was looking for a specific guy and when I tried online dating I felt it was easier to weed out the good vs. the "bad". although some were fibbers etc, it didn't feel like so much of a let down because you never met them before and haven't had that physical interaction.
Its 2009 man. Gone are the days when you had to go to the box social to meet future house wives
