I'm tired of picking up little pieces off the floor from the dude before
I need a belt too. Where is a good site that sells both? That would be perfect
I wanna get one of those Valeo belts, they look pretty......and how many inches should the back be. I always see like 4" ones, isnt that kinda small
elitefts sells everything, i would just get both from there and save on shipping
sports authority sells chalk
i have a belt from sports authority that ive had since junior year of high school that I still use - thin leather single prong belt. I actually like it better then my thick belt
truuu......ill have to check out sports authority. when i do heavy lifts im scared im gonna shit out my colon without a belt
i went to a climbing/outdoor store to get my chalk.
If you want a quality belt go with Inzer, EFS, Cardillo, Bob's Belts, etc
All power belts are 4 inches across, the only wider ones I've seen are those gayass bodybuilding belts that are like 3 inches in the front and 22 inches in the back.
haha oh ok. so 4 inches in the back is ok? i wasnt sure
Yeah, I'm currently using an Inzer but I just ordered one from EFS because the Inzer is too big. If you get a quality one they should last damn near forever.
So if anyone needs a slightly used 2XL 10mm single prong Inzer belt...
I personally prefer a lever belt.
and how tight are you supposed to put the belt on. pretty snug when relaxed?
I prefer being able to adjust the tightness of my belt without a screwdriver
Just make sure you don't get a double prong. They offer no advantage and are a pain in the ass to get on and off compared to a single/lever.
it should be firm but you should still be able to stick your abs into it when you flex out your gut.
Where the lever attaches to the other side of the belt, there are 4 prongs arranged in a square format corresponding to 4 holes in a square format. When I have a particular ammount of bloat, you just loop the last 2 prongs into the last 2 holes (instead of all 4) , gives you another few centimetres
so when you flex your gut thats when the belt should be like pretty tight around you?
yer should be pretty damn tight when you flex your abs against it, little looser when you dead.
As tight as you can get it and still maintain a belly full of air while pushing your abs out.
ok cool, im probably gonna deadlift 800lbs next week when i have my belt
