I have a studio/off camera lighting class, and I want to do a crazy bug macro series like some of the stuff thats been posted here recently.

But I have no clue where to find the bugs, and insects that cool don't really hang out around here.

    any ideas?

The wife is a biology teacher, so I might not even mind buying something, as long as it's halfway reasonable....

My friend did a crazy painting of this guy screaming with red and black around him (its just his face, probably about 30x50 inches, its big) and he has a bug collection on it (mostly moths) and they're all pinned onto this guys face.. it's intense

try calling a larger exterminating company, not terminex.

alot of time they keep crazy weird shit their guys find as trophies, werid huh. and they display them for their customers to have a look at if customers happen to wander in if they have a retail storefront. Bugs are their business

    I hate spiders. It's on.

I definitely need the tarantula. Is that the scariest spider we can find? If i'm going to give myself nightmares, I minus whale go all out.

For the final project in the class we have to shoot multiple objects and make a digital illustration out of them. I'm thinking of using the crazy flying moth thing and making a squadron of moth bombers flying over 1930's Paris...
