    but yeah...only straight from japan.

sometimes people have them for sale on SuFu though. A decent alternative is one of the Ponderosas from Leather Good Connection (their website is something like www.leathergoodconnection.com )

that's IF i were to want a fat old wallet like a Red Moon, that's what I'd get instead

    I personally prefer thin ones

I have a wallet I bought at a leather shop in Florence. It's simple and classy looking.

so, if you wanted a low profile, untreated leather wallet, what would your pick be?

    my current wallet:

the brown isn't grainy like it is in the picture though. Very smooth and supple.

I wanted something that would lie very flat...so this one only has one billfold and 6 cardslots (of which I only use 3. Got rid of all my stupid membership cards, etc. just the essentials.) no coin-pocket thingie or drivers license removable holder piece (though Coach also carries models that does include such features)

why would you get that over a super slim card wallet and money clip? it would be smaller and thinner, i think.

but i admit that wallet is sexy

super slim card wallet = no place to put bills

money clip...i had a coach money clip that i've been using for years. I liked it a lot. In fact i used it for so long that the leather covering the metal in the clip started to wear thin and it started to cut holes in the back pockets of my jeans after a while. (I wore it with the clip side out so i owuldnt have to sit on it :mamoru...and yes i put it in my back pocket).

It was time to replace the clip and I wanted to chage things up a bit so I decided to go back to a wallet, but only if i could find one that was very slim. As I only keep 3 cards in there (driver's license and 2 CCs), it's not too much thicker than my money clip was and areawise, not too much bigger either

    picture of said moneyclip
