I am not getting you :(
Usually free hosting services put ads on your domain/site.
Go with reliable paid host after getting few reviews and suggestions.
I am with a UK based host who is very helpful and live round the clock with excellent support.

I am guessing you are using their free hosting that came with the domain purchase...correct?

    Well there is your answer.

I use them, but they are assholes. They were looking for a reason to boot me off for actually using the "unmetered hosting" they offered to the best of my potential. "oh you have one torrent file on your server" TOS VIOLATION! "oh you have a web hosting script JUST for you on our server" TOS VIOLATION!

    etc etc.

imountain is by far the best web host I have ever used. When I first started with them, they reprogrammed a PHP script for me for free. I was like :eek3: Since then, they've been cool as fuck with everything, including me going over my bandwidth time and time again.

We use NameCheap for the domain and KalypsoWeb for the hosting. If you don't rely on income from your website, KW is a good host. I have had very few problems with them over 4 years.

godaddy, you have to pay for hosting after you get the domain name. They offer you a page for FREE with advertising, you need to PAY to get hosting w/o ads.

At work we use eNom for our registrar; they're fairly good.

I use godaddy for all my domain registrations.

What you are talking about, as previously stated, is hosting.

I do co-location. I have a Cisco ASA, 10 public ip addresses, oc-48 connection, 1/3 a rack with 1 web server, 1 sql server, and 1 application server -- I own the servers). It costs me $250.00/month for this.

Godaddy can be considered only for domain registration and mot hosting.
Go with a host who has good reputation in market and is available round the clock for your assistance.
