Just did my second trackday this past weekend on my 2009 zx6r. Holy shit was so much fun

I used to be all into drag racing but fuck that

20 minutes of high speeds through turns > 10 seconds of high speeds going straight.

Seriously debating getting a track bike now. Would hate to put down the new one when its only got 2500 miles on it. :greddy:

I know there some other track day people here.

First track was Barber motorsports park, second one was talladega GP....few pics

I don't know if the same sanction that I did mine with runs them in your state, but I did my first one with sportbiketracktime.com They have a novice, intermediate, and advance group. I did Novice since I had never been on a race track. There is coaches out there who will ride along side of you, and pretty much help you all day long if you need them to. There were a couple guys out there who made me wonder if they had ever took a turn on their bike since they owned it. But we all gotta start somewhere. The trackdays start at $99 a day on certain tracks.

That includes seven 20 minute sessions and if your in the novice group, about 2 hours of class time.

So 2 hours and 20 minutes of total ride time.

didn't look like that site has anything near me, but I just looked and http://www.motorcyclexcitement.com/ has Summit Point track days for $175

I've heard good things about Summit and it's very close to me
