I've been working out for a few months doing intense cardio for 2.5 hours 2-3 times a week. And i've noticed that now I sweat really quickly when i start working out...is this really the case, or does it feel like i'm sweating faster because I'm sweating before I even start getting tired now?

I seem to recall something about yes, the more you adapt to the cardio the sooner you begin to sweat since your body starts trying to cool you off faster..I'd have to go research it though :hsd:

I never sweat, it is kinda crazy.

I can run about 2 miles and not sweat :(.

    Decent pace too.

Edit: I am sweating now after running a mile then doing some HIIT down the home stretch.

  10. It takes me longer to sweat now that I'm in better shape. But it also could be from the weight loss

I sweat like a bitch. Seems to have gotten worse the more "in shape" I have gotten. I always used to hear that sweating was a sign of healthiness. Probably just a wives tale.

You must be a superhero if you can do "intense cardio" for 2.5 hours....

Perhaps overestimatng the intensity level of your workout is the simple reason for not sweating as much as you perceive that you should

It takes a while to sweat when I'm on the elliptical or bike.

But stairclimber and spinning, I'm toast after 5 mins. Same goes for the first 2 sets of any olympic lifts
