my friend just gave me a mac he'd bought from someone, and i've never used os x or macs before in my life. when i put a dvd in, nothing happened. i then enabled an option that would autoplay movie dvds in the dvd player, but still no dice. the same thing happens when i put a cd in, nothing pops up. is my dvd drive broken? thanks.
