I stepped on porcelain a couple months back and it's finally healing the way because I had so many stitches and re injured it... didn't really stay off of it the way I should have. ANYWAYS, is there some kind of tape I could so the bottom is protected on the map? (Muay Thai). I can't stand being out... what suggestions do you guys have? It's pretty healed up now... It wont be bleeding.. (Unless I'm barefoot and pivoting.)

IMO, if you're bleeding stay the fuck out of the gym.

If you have to get in there, crazy glue works wonders.

That product "new skin" seems like it will fit the bill...

I second the liquid bandaid. I cut my thumb REALLY badly just recently, but after sterilizing it and stopping the bleeding, I applied a liquid bandaid and taped it up with gauze. Able to roll with no problem now. Almost healed up too.

Superglue is used at work a lot when we get cuts, that liquid bandage stuff is good but it wears off faster (since we have to be constantly washing our hands) than superglue does.

I've heard that superglue was good, but never tried it. Isn't it harmful for the skin?

From what my co-workers told me, it came about during WWII (WWI?) to close wounds instantly. :dunno: if that is true but if it is, then I'm sure it isn't harmful.

I've used it tons of time in the past when I first started at my job, now that I've gotten better I haven't been using it too much and I never noticed anything bad about it. The only thing is that you do not want it to stay on the cut too long, try washing it off or peeling it off because the cut won't really heal if its just in there the whole time.

Any time I have a cut I put an appropriately sized band-aid over it then wrap the area with athletic tape, about 3 times the width of the band-aid for extra support and protection.

it is actually still recommended to close wounds if you cant get to a Dr/Hospital.

and you're right, it holds up MUCH better than any other product.

I have it, its should work ok for cuts, although it doesnt do fuck all for blisters. It also smells very very bad. It will sting like a mother.
