    Do you bring the bar to your chest or elbows to 90°? Are there any benefits of going to just 90° over full ROM?

    don't blink.
    i hit my chest so hard with the bar the other day. not even like i couldn't handle the weight, i just was too pumped & like pulled it down :o

    the lower you go, the more anterior delts are involved... but with that said... I do full ROM myself... you do get a better pump

    Well I bench with a raw benchers arch and my elbows in, deep belly full of air. With proper power technique you should be able to touch your chest at about 90 degrees or less. The more your shoulder blades retract and traps flex the less your arms have to bend. Shortening the stroke is the fastest way to up your bp #.
