A few weeks ago I made a switch to the 2.0GHz MacBook Pro. So far, I love just about everything about it. However, not having an extensive photoshop tool is driving me nuts. On my old PC, I was using Ulead PhotoImpact. Unfortunately, it's not compatible with Mac OS X. I'd like to try using Adobe PS Elements but I don't want to shell out $99 on a program that runs on Rosetta. I want to get the full potential out of my MBP!

Any other options? or am I stuck waiting? :hs:

Oh, and is Flip4Mac the best option for playing back Windows Media content? Again, I've having a problem doing that because it's not yet compatible with Intel Macs

Adobe pushed all their products back a long way. I think it is 2007 now.

    Sorry.

Can you re-size photos in iPhoto '06? If not, what's a simple image editing freeware app that I can use for the time being until PS is released?

Me too. CS2 runs pretty good on my MacBook, but runs much better on my PowerMac with close to the same specs minus memory. But I will be maxing this MB puppy out come next week.
