when to take muscle milk

    i got mine in the mail a couple days ago (chocolate). tried it with costco's soymilk .. was beyond disgusting - too thick, sweet. much better with water.

    when do you take it?

    i've read it's terrible / not ideal after a workout, because of the fat and casein protein. seems like a lot of people prefer taking it right before bed, will it really do anything while i sleep? :o

    Dude, if you are worried about fucking protein absorption after a workout just fucking quit now.

    Take it when it is convenient and you can not eat.

    Personally muscle milk is one of my meals, usually my second so I drink it around 10 or 11. I drink a whey protein shake right after a workout.

    I understand that your supps have not come in yet but never EVER, EVER include milk in your diet. Man I'm pissed off now. Instead get some eggs, cold meat or something but NOT MILK. FUCK.

    i came here to learn about muscle milk consumption and learned some other things. don't mean to hate on anyone. i can't tell when people are being serious or not, that's all :o

    For the last while its been my only protein drink... so yeah, I take it post workout as well. For 99.99% of us, the rate of protein absorbption as a factor is negligible.

    Just fuckin have a shake when you cant eat solid food. It's not a biotech products, so it isn't going to increase your protein synthesis by 1486% if taken exactly 13.27s after you finish your last set.

    Food is food. Eat it, grow.

    I have approximately 275 to 300 cinder blocks for sale. They are standard 8"x8"x16". They cost about $1.75 plus delivery fees if you buy them somewhere else. I'm asking $1.00 per block.
    You pick them up and move them yourself.

    i've been taking it pre workout in a shake that includes banana, milk, l-glutamine, and mono. it gets thick if you use 1-1.5 scoops, so i've been using ~10 ounces milk. might be a lot different though without the banana.
