do you include the weight of the bar?

I dont. My squat right now is 5 sets of 190X5, not including bar weight. If you include bar I am squatting 225, which sounds brolier.

Why wouldn't you? You're lifting the bar's weight too.

B/c i make a spreadsheet of my progress, and it's easier for me to see 180 and think four 45lbs plates, than think 180 - 35 = 145 = four 35 lbs plates, the bar and two 2.5 lbs weights

Actually when squatting, you count body weight too, because you are squatting the bar weight plus your body weight.

I like the way you think. I believe I should also account for the force of gravity and the atmosphere pushing down on me and add that to my max weight.

Actually it is your body wt minus your two feet. because they are lower than the last pivot point. Unless that is you squat on your tippie toes...then just don't count them :hsugh:
