Like is the iBook still running off the battery, then immediatly recharging, or is it going directly to the iBook and not through the battery?

I ask this because I'm using my ibook as my desktop at the moment, so when I get around to using it as an actual notebook, I don't want the battery to be shit.

I also checked the battery temp and it's at 31 degrees... :dunno:

    ALSO, a different question.

Will keeping my iBook cool expand it's life, or no?

I'm not sure but supposedly keeping anything plugged in too much will wear down the battery life. I've heard that about my cell and my ipod so probably a laptop too. I've heard people say that keeping their pismos plugged in had that result on the battery but it's probably just the age.
