Not a fan of gays, nor do I really even sympathize for them much, but everyone deserve the right to preserve their life, regardless of race, religion, or sexual orientation, and for that more power to them.

While I don't agree with some other group's political views, I to agree that firearm ownership should be available to all law-abiding citizens. Not only for defensive, but sporting and hunting purposes as well.

And I don't think its ever been small either. For all the talk the gun grabbers like to do about the "gun lobby" implying the manufacturers are buying off representatives, there just isn't big money in the gun business. The gun lobby is powerful because such a large number of americans value their 2nd amendment rights and work to preserve. The sheer number of gun owners is what is responsible for the preservation of our rights, I think we're just breaking more stereotypes now.

I'd say someone openly gay walking down the street is more likely to be attacked/killed than your average citizen. If I were gay I'd definitely want to be able to carry a weapon to defend myself :dunno:

Good for them. I also never understand why Jews vote to take their own gun rights just like Hitler did to them by force.
