Is it better to work early in the morning or at night?
from personal experience I prefer later in the afternoon. I did chest/tri's this morning (got plans for tonite after work) and my usual drive wasn't there. Normally I can rep 315 for 8-10 and was only able to get 6 this morning, skullcrushers dropped from a 45 on each side to a 35 for my superset. I feel great now (10:30am) but I like having my full drive later in the afternoon.
I don't like cardio early in the morning. And cardio just after waking up and on an empty stomach can be detrimental to muscle growth / repair from what I've read.
After supper in the evening is my best time. My heaviest lifts seem to happen on Sunday evening though, after having the weekend off to relax.
