Trap the other person's back with your leg, or hook the leg to keep him from flipping over to escape?

I've found it more comfortable to trap the back, but hooking the leg seems to make more sense. One of the higher belts also showed the option of closing up the guard as you finish off the move.

:bigthumb: set up the kimura, open guard to hip out, close it back.

I hook, my question is this when you go for the kimura do you do the wrist grab or not? If im going for the kimura i usually go for the hip heist sweep first if I dont get it then I will go for the kimura while im doing it. I dont grab the wrist because usually when I do it telegraphs so I just trap the arm first then lock the wrist

i sit up and hook the arm first and then grab the wrist, makes it quicker, if they beat me to the punch and hug my hip before i can grab the wrist the sweep is right there
