When do you guys start your cut?

    Just curious as to when most of you guys start your cut for the summer?

    I'm 6' 185 and about 12%, want to cut down to about 170 / 10% by mid-May. Was thinking about March 1st to start back on the stricter diet and adding in the extra swim/conditioning every day.

    When do you guys usually start?

    Um, what?

    When I cut I don't change my routine too terribly much if that's what you're saying? I just usually stick with 3x10 sets, antagonist/hypertrophic stuff with low rest times when I lift. It's really more about my diet and adding in more conditioning time.

    How much weight do you usually lose in your cut though? I only ask cause I'm pretty sure you bulk a hell of a lot more than my skinny ass.

    I don't get fat or eat horribly but I'm definitely not as strict and try to put on a good 5-10lbs or so just to up my lifts. Not a true bulk at all really, just a less disciplined diet I guess :dunno:

    still look about the same as my other pics...

    on holidays i dont binge eat... matter of fact for thanks giving i made sure the host serving turkey used no butter/maragrine in all i ate, at which i just ate a cup of green beans, and 400g turkey..

    i only went out twice this month to drink....

    and if i do ea a heavy or cheat meal.. is a 10-15k run the next morning.

    :)

    To drop 2-3% and wanting to be there by mid may I would start in mid march.

    8 weeks should be sufficient to cut down and still retain as much muscle mass as possible.

    mental perseverance. every freaking day of my life people are telling me eat this this crap food just this one time, its not bad. I let go one day then i i do a next and the domino effect shall occur.

    Plus, foods with margarine and crap in it dont taste good to me at all anymore... i prefer the healthy treat/dish tastewise... gets acquired over time.

    I party too much to be that strict with my diet full time :(

    I like to drink, and twice a week I eat whatever the fuck I want... and I love both of those days.

    when i start getting love handles/completely lose abs. Its gonna be awhile since im bulking slowly and cleanly as possible.
