yes, i go to eat with the center of the db's
but i was doing that yesterday and one of the personal trainers decided they'd tell me "thats not a proper lift" blah blah
i bring em about 1-2" off the shoulders, when i do them standing i touch them to my shoulders for some reason though
Full rom, all the way down.
I used to go full range on every shoulder exercise until I separated my shoulder doing so.
Down to my ears. If I bring them any further on each rep, each one of my shoulders pops.
Ears for me.

I come real close but don't touch. Lower than the ears for sure though.
This is how I do them. It depends by what you mean by "ear". Is the bottom/middle/top of the DB at ear level?

Abs suck. I never do them.
Arms are small, too. Working on them extra hard right now.
depends on the weight... Lighter yes touch shoulders... heavier generally higher.
I always touch my shoulders on it, doesn't feel like a real rep otherwise.
it hurts my shoulders if i go for a full touch but about an inch is good for me
