    So wait, hold on. I've never heard of this, what's the purpose of the exercise? Shoot wax at targets? I think I understand the process, but what's the purpose? Training drill? Sounds interesting.

    Click the link to the original post. There is some more talk about what he does with them. Sounds like it uses just the primer to shoot wax slugs. He mentions either indoor shooting (just for shits and giggles) or training with them. "live" round with the flash or recoil.

    :dunno: but sounds kinda fun.

    Ahh, interesting. This would obviously only work in a wheel gun. Although my Smith 5904 feeds empties pretty darn well.

    yeah i heard of it, my dad had an old ass like popular mechanics set from the 50s or 60s and they had a thing in there about doing this to shoot indoors.
