Wheel offset for 94 Camaro?

    I want to put 275/40 R17 tires on what rim width and offset do I need?

    You will probably need a 17 x 8.5" rim. with a factory F-body offset. Can't remember it off the top of my head, but I think it was 55mm. If you're going to spend the money though, try to get at least a 9" wide rim. You can get a set of the ZR1 style reproduction rims, for the 4th Gen F-body for about $1300 new, in a 17 x 9" front, and 17 x 11" rear size.
