Apparently he dictated it and left copious notes so it should be released in the next year or so.

Brandon Sanderson has been named to complete Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time series.

I read book 1 in his Mistborn series. It was okay. I'm curious to see what he does with Jordan's notes and audio tapes about the end of The Wheel of Time.

    It least we get closure.

Just saw this thread but had heard about RJ back in sept. I grew up reading WoT novels and to this day it is still my favorite series. I was greatly saddened to hear about RJ's death...somehow it felt like we had some bond even though I'd never met him.

At the same time I can't help but wish he had the time to complete the WoT series the way he wanted. I hope when I crack open the final book it feels like he wrote every word.

The series has great characters but he dragged it out way too long at times. And is it me or Aes Sedai are all bitches?
