Well I'm on Windows 2000 Pro with SP2 (Or is it 3? Can never keep up with all their damn SPs now adays ) installed. And my uptime right now is: 3wks 20hrs 40mins 12secs I am hoping to try and keep it up for a month to see if I can, I've only been able to keep the computer up at the longest for 2 weeks and like 2 days in the past, I had to reboot due to having to install some new software. So yeah what about the rest of you, whats your longest uptime, or current one if you don't have a longest...

~500 days for some solaris box that serves daily. It went down because the ps fan died.

Damn those are some impressive times.

I was able to get WinXP to stay up for 2 months but that was on a computer that was only touched about once per month so yeah I wouldn't count that haha. I'm about to reboot this computer because it's running like shit and I have some things to take care of on my webpage.
This computer sucks balls though: AMD K7 500MHz, 128MB Ram.
My old computer sitting next to me that is a giant paper weight, died because my power company fucked up and now is not giving me the few hundred dollars the computer is worth: Dual PIII 850MHz, half gig of ram, GeForce 4, SoundBlaster Live!, 40gb HD, and a few other goodies. Entire thing died. Only thing working I got out of it was my 2nd HD, and my DVD-Burner. I was absolutely furious.

As of right now (I don't keep records or anything):

    Firewall (Mandrake 6.1):
    Code:
    [[email protected] adam]# uptime
      5:43pm up 53 days, 7:48, 1 user, load average: 0.07, 0.02, 0.00
    Main machine (SuSE 8.2):
    Code:
    [[email protected] adam]$ uptime
      5:30pm up 10 days 18:01, 2 users, load average: 1.20, 1.65, 1.02
And I'm not planning on rebooting any time soon :big grin:

On a work machine that I used daily for software development I had an uptime of ~120 days. It was running Win2K Pro.

Here is a cap when it hit 100 days:

The August power failure I'm sure reset a lot of folks unless they had some manly alternate power solutions. We just had another power failure two nights ago, so I'm out. I know my P100 RH Linux box gets about 60-90 days assuming the power stays constant (which its been going out at the rate of about once a month).
