What's your protein shake schedule?

    I've been working out consistently for a little while now and decided to start using Protein shakes. How often do you take it and how much?

    If you don't take it every day, do you take it on days that you know you didn't get enough protein?

    Do you work out every day? If not, do you drink it on offdays?

    Also, how many servings each time?

    I plan on designing my own schedule of protein as it will have to do with how much protein I'm taking in from regular foods.

    However it would be nice to get advice from people who are more experienced with it.

    I'm not sure why you would reply with that when people come to this forum for help and for advice.

    on a gym day:
    1 scoop w/milk afternoon
    1 scoop w/milk pre workout (30min-+ before)
    1 scoop w/mlk post workout (15min after workout... which is basically before bed since i hit the gym at nights mainly)

    resting day:
    1 scoop w/milk afternoon
    1 scoop w/milk before bed



    sometimes i will only take 2 servings of whey on work out days because id be getting enough protein from foods. btw 1 scoop = 31g protein (+ 8oz. fat free milk)




    general rule of thumb: 1g protein per lb of body weight.

    protein shake at breakfast with a bunch of other shit added and post-workout

    i have protein jello pudding every now and then though

    40g post

    non training days i'll spread it out through out the day

    I drink one after a workout if I'm too lazy to make food or don't feel like going out to eat

    1 post workout. On days I'm not working out I'll usually have one mid-day or for breakfast cause I don't forcefeed myself.

    Lately I've been throwing down cheeseburgers with 33g of protein instead. pre and post workout

    ahh i miss the days of getting mcdonald's and eating it in my gym lobby before my workout :o
