    Inspired by other thread, people are all over the place.

    No caffeine today, been resting the past 2 hours and just clocked in at 62 BPM.

    And I used my computer clock to time for 15 seconds, then multiplied by 4.

    edit: first beat should be counted as "0".
    Average for males is 70 BPM, females 75-80 BPM.

    72. i heard the most accurate time to check is when you wake up. theres too much shit going on right now to accurately check your real resting heart rate.

    ok noob here. so lower is better, right? i came back from the gym about 30 min ago and just clocked at 88. is that like bad or what.

    I haven't done any cardio for two years since I stopped playing sports. Seems odd that lifting alone would maintain it..but I don't really know much about this shit.
