I love the health benefits of working out and spending a lot of time on the bag, and I also love the confidence boost of knowing I'm in good shape and can potentially kick ass if need be (although I'm not cocky in the least).

    You?

My favorite part of my workout is when i'm all done after stretching and my shins are numb, elbows and knees feel like leather, and my arms feel 100x heavier. :coold: I can always feel a slight improvement with each workout also... I love that feeling when I can stretch a little farther and push a little harder.

My fav. part is drilling a tech and using it later on when grappling.

Yea pretty much. I don't know if it's universal, but our instructor has us go pretty much 100% up until we throw then if it's going to be clean we don't resist. Atleast for me, this has been helping my takedown game a lot.

It's starting to get hot around here and we are focusing on wrestling and adopting our judo throws to nogi.

i guess the feeling of a clean submission... and making a new technique work for the first time

  8. Feeling really good, fast, "in the zone." Doing 2+ hours of intensive training and not feeling tired.

heavy bag work and focus mitts until you can't even hold your arms out infront of you and your upper back muscles are aching.

god honestly for me there's so much.

the impact it has on my health and energy levels.
the feeling of pulling a fucking sweet combo out and nailing someone's ass to the wall. that or a beautiful face kick that makes the whole dojo go "daaaaamn"
the feeling of a newbie needing help in class and knowing to automaticly turn to me
and of course the feeling of tooling someone on the ground

I'm with you on that one. I love taking my body as far as it can go. It gives the sense of ultimate accomplishment.

Always rolling with people that are bigger and better than you and finally tapping them out.

    .

But in my situation, if they're bigger and better than me, I lose most likely but when they're just big and just using their weight on me, I make them pay for it anyway I can.

There's this one blue belt guy at my school (who got his blue belt mainly because he's been going a lot) who's like 200lbs, kinda outa shape. But fk me man, that guy goes all out on me the first time (mind you, I'm 125lbs and was a white belt at the time even though I had experience b4 in other grappling) we roll so I pulled a flying triangle on him, had the triangle locked in, leg trapped, and his arm torqued for an armbar also just cause I was pissed off at him. And even then, this guy just uses all power and no technique, EVEN WHEN WE'RE JUST DRILLING (*&#($*(& so I just don't go easy on him at all.

And its not like he hasn't been told that he's only using power and barely any technique, people tell him all the time but he doesn't learn.

My favorite part is making a 240 pounds newbie calling me his daddy by putting him in an armbar. I only weigh 170 pounds.
