I have a Sylvania SRT2232S and for some reason it started to not want to display the top half of the screen...at all...it's blank. I check the back for any connections that might be severed, and everything is fine. It didn't cost that much but I don't want to get rid of it. I don't know a thing about TV repair so maybe I can get a little help on here...

heres some pictures of what it's doing...

the white line across the top looks like the top half all crunched down to a bright light...

Any suggestions would be MUCH appreciated...

not very old at all...probably 2 or 3 years...it's a nice TV...the cell pic doesn't do it justice...
The point is, I need help trying to diagnose the problem...not how old it is...

I still would like to fix it...I love it...and if i figure out that fixing it will cost less than a new TV then I'll fix it...I dont need anything but standard def.

inside the picture tube, or inside the back of it...
because I checked the circuit board in the back, and there were no lost connections(im pretty good with electronics, just not TV repair). If it's a connection then anyone knows where to get me started then point me to it...that'll be no problem.
