Seems like fat free milk goes way up in carbs, but obviously loses the fat. It seems like most people here do drink milk, especially with protein shakes and hot cereals. What do you guys use? :dunno:

if you're talking in terms of calorie content ... then fats are worse. i use non-fat milk.

    Holy lurk :eek5:
I'm not really referring to calorie content so much as how hard one is to metabolize over the other.

:werd: Should have seen him when he came out. He looked like an alien :eek3: Even I didn't think he was cute then. I was more like :noes:

Anywho, he's my son. Obviously I'd think he's the best kid ever, but seriously, he's the best kid ever. About two weeks in that pic. I'd probably think it was a little weird if guys were chilling out on OT with pics of random peoples' babies in their avs :o

??? If you're talking "health" wise and comparing fat-free vs. whole milk- I'd go with the fat-free purely because it's fewer calories for the same amount of milk.

If you take it to the extreme and eat tons of ANYTHING, it's bad for you.

Fat is harder to metabolize than carbs.

It's not like you're eating straight fat or straight carbs in 90% of food anyways. In the milk example, it's f/c/p mixed.

You have to admit... poutine sounds way better.

Especially when you say it to some latin girl behind the counter...
"Yes...and I'd like some poutine with that."

My gf is french...from France. She doesn't like the Quebecuois language.
My nephew had a crush on her just from hearing her voice on the phone.

If you're ever up in TO for any reason, drop me a line.

I had poutine today for the first time in months :noes: It was an italian poutine (poutine topped with spaghetti sauce instead of the regular brown sauce), that was reaaaally good.

The fat will make you feel "full" longer. I'd rather keep the fat and lose the carbs.
