    Looks nice. I would have bought that over my Pelican 1750 which I had to cut myself with a hot wire even though I got the Pelican for about $190 shipped NIB

    :dunno: looks nice but I rather have a pelican and cut it myself for the config I want.

    Thats true, you could also get your own foam for this one and then cut it if its not up to snuff.

    I have a dillemma. I want/need a case to fit my AR and scope, but I don't
    need it to survive being pitched off a moving C130 in a combat drop (i.e. the
    Pelican pricetag).

    Any suggestions on a good compromise of a rigid plastic case? I don't need
    it to float in saltwater, to be airtight, to have a lot of the features the
    Pelicans and others have....I just need a case that's rigid and sized like
    the one pictured.....
