So I didn't know this forum was here. :bigthumb:
Ok, my only weapon at the moment is my Glock 17. I haven't even fired it yet since I haven't made it to the shooting range, but plan to VERY soon. I love it. Feels awesome. Anyway, just thought I would say hi since I just found the forum, thanks kellclan :bigthumb:, and I plan to post here more often.

My mom also had a gun the police took when they found her ( :wtc: ), and I can get it back soon, but she left it to Mike in her will, so I have to see if he wants it, which I'm sure he does... If not, I will have one more. :hs: Kinda sad I got them from losing my parents though. :(

Where I keep it... I have a 21 month old son that would love to play with it, so... For now, I keep it on top of the DVD player, wich is on a TV, on a dresser, so it's about 7-8 feet high and out of his reach with no where to climb, and well within my easy reach. It is in a black case, nothing in the chamber and no lucked clip. Also locked... (see trigger lock in pics) ;)

I made sure before handing the gun to her that the clip was not in and nothing was in the chamber. Even so, I was not behind the camera, but off to the right... And thanks. :bigthumb:

Looks to me like her fingers are underneath the trigger guard, with one index finger covering the other one - not on the trigger. :dunno:

Looks can be deceiving. It's just the angle that makes it look that way, the finger is on the trigger.

Actually, I believe her finger was off the trigger, as you can see in the pic. I could be remembering wrong, but I'm pretty sure it was under the guard.

Either way, no clip, empty chamber, and it was not pointed at anyone at all...

I thought so at first, too. But if you look really closely, you can see her left index finger all the way below the trigger guard. That one is clearly below the guard, not on the trigger.

If you look at her right index finger, the nail is covered up because it's underneath the 2nd knuckle on her left finger, and the tip of her left index finger is covering the 2nd knuckle on her right index finger.

She has both hands wrapped around the grip on top of each other, below the trigger guard. It's a trick of the zoom and the angle that makes it look like she's covering the trigger.

Maybe this pic from the series will help clear it up (forgot about this one). This was same stance and same grip as prev pic.....

BTW, who's your baby? The gun or the girl? Or is it just a happy threesome?

I just saw a report on that lock, or at least looks identical to it (have in on a dvd). Can you really just pull the trigger by just pulling on the lock itself? My buddy has a gun lock but its a thick cable that runs through the chamber and out the barrel which stops it from being cocked/fired even if you can get a bullet in there.

a lil offtopic, but can someone explain to me what that extra thing is on the trigger of the glock? isnt it some safety feature?

It's a trigger safety. Basically just a simple lever that keeps the trigger from being pulled unless the lever is depressed at the same time.
