    CPU: AMD XP 1800+
    MB: Shuttle AK31A v3.1
    RAM: 512MB DDR PC2100
    Video: GF3 Ti200
    Sound: Hercules Gamesurround Muse XL
    HD: 20GB 7200RPM Western Digital
    Burner: 12x Plextor
    Generic Floppy
    Linksys NIC
    Case: Antec SX1030
Monitor: Dell M992 (19" flatscreen, only 3 months old)
    Microsoft keyboard and mouse

I think that's it. If I could get $1200 for it I'd throw in a Linksys 4 port router for kicks. Do you guys think $1200 is a fair price? I'd probably list it locally.

If there's any chance in hell of selling that thing for $1200 then at the least upgrade the hard drive to 50 or 60GB.

That's not bad. I wouldn't be too excited about that deal because I just spent 500 on the monitor/1800+/and another 256 DDR in Oct or so. :sad2:

yeah it really isn't, but don't expect to get that much though. I wouldn't be surprised if the max a person offers is somewhere around the 850

I'll put it in front of my co-workers. Those people make so much money that $1k is nothing to them. Plus, none of them build, they just buy OEM computers. Those are already overpriced. I think $1k is reachable, I just need to hit the correct audience. :)

$500-600 tops. Someone would have to be a complete idiot to pay $1000 for that. So I suggest you select complete idiots as your target audience.

i wouldnt even pay 300 (excluding screen) for it, you can get OEM machines that are better than that for 500-600$ plus a warranty.

Personally, no warranty automatically means i ain't buying it.

You sure? I picked up a system like that last summer for my parents (used off OT Yardsale) for $250 and $25 for shipping, but w/o the monitor.

Still funny a bump from 2002. We should really prune this forum soon. Drop everything pre 2004.
