What's the word on waxy maize?

    So I've always used NOW Carbo Gain in the past which is just maltodextrin. I came across GlycoMaize from ON as one of the suggested products when I was browsing around on bulknutrition. It doesn't seem bad for the price and I'm thinking about giving it a try.


    Anyone use it? If so is it worth it or am I better off sticking to Carbo Gain?

    I've used NutraPlanet's Kwick Karb, its ok for flavorless. I'm using TrueProtein's WMS right now and its a lot better than NP's. I picked up some GENR8 Vitargo S2 yesterday going to try it tonight, it was cheap at GNC

    I was using 1fast400 brand, now im taking ON Glyco.

    Doesn't really matter what brand...

    They're not all created equally so I would disagree. They're are definate quality diffrences in many of the HMW carbs out there.

    Seems like waxy maize is a pretty solid product so its a toss up between ON Glycomaize or BN's own brand.


    Thanks for the input guys.

    Usually 80g, if I've had an espeically hard leg or bag day I'll sometimes use 100g on those days.

    just 1 scoop PWO :dunno:

    i dunno how to deal with WMS on a low-carb diet... that's like 1/3 of my carbs for the whole day

    last time i was researching this stuff there wasnt really a consensus if it was actually worth the money or worked. Does it work?

    If you're eating that low, I would probably get rice cakes or something that seems like more calories than it is.

    I used to use GlycoMaize. It was ok. Now I just eat pop tarts or w/e that is full of sugar/carbs post workout. It's much tastier.

    so what? On my low carb days I got carbs for the meal before my workout and the meal after... You don't need carbs with every meal.
