Our graphics group (Mac users) have a few of them that they transport large projects to and from their home offices with. No problems that I've heard of.

They've always been top notch in the past.

I'm actually openning a 160GB firewire drive right now for cloning our Macs. Supposedly they're pretty good. I guess I'll find out for myself in an hour or two :o

I have a 160 firewire, and I like it. Size is good for a drive that size (unlike my Maxtor firewire drive). My only gripe is that it uses an external transformer; more to lug around.

We've got a 500gb ext. drive and it works great. It's got all of our DIVX movies on it and share it out on the work network.

So far, so good with the 160GB. Got it booting and I'm sticking an image on it right now. I'm not sure how quick it'll be when imaging the other machines but I'm pretty impressed. :coold:
