Something that's preferably low in fats, carbs, and high in protein, just like my ON powder.

I've looked at a few protein bars at my local supermarket here but the ones that have 20g of protein or more also have high sat fats and carb content. :wtf:

    Thanks :)

I don't recommend making your own. I made some and they were horrendous. I actually threw 80 percent of them out .. they were THAT bad (I must admit I did use over the recipes suggested protein amount).

I bought some premeir protein bars from Sams yesterday. It was like 13 dollars for 15 bars and each bar is 30 grams of protein! It does have some soy in it though ... but I like them for the price.

Apex cookie and cream aren't bad at all, but they have a good amount of sugar.

Iv tryed power bar protein bar (23g protein) and the Clif "builder" bar (20g). the builder bars are 100X better tasting and despite the fact that they have less protein i would choose them enyday over the power bar.

I've tried the builder bars and they are quite good. However I am looking for something with a little more than 20 g of protein. :hs:

how big babies are you guys? Ive never had a bar that really was all that hard to eat. Pure proteins are fine. sure they don't taste like a snickers, but man the fuck up. they are pretty tasty compared to plenty of other shit i eat.

The apple cinnamon ones are so good:drool:

However I dont beleive in protein bars anymore. Alot of the ones are not the most nutritious and alot of them are high in sugar alcohol. Some of them are so good in fact that it tastes like a candy bar.

Those are the ones I've been eating in class currently. The honey peanut butter is a fucking drug I tell you.

I want to find another brand with less sugar and a little higher in protein content because I'm positive I'll turn into a fatty if I stay with these bars. :mamoru:

Yeah I have yet to try one bar that was utterly repulsive. I want to find something that's much lower in sugar content than your typical bars that's gonna require some balls to put in my mouth.

Thanks for the recipe, but looks like way too much work for something that isn't too rich in protein. :hs: I also don't have an oven in my studio apt, so that makes things difficult as well. :o
