whats the ratio of hd to backup for norton ghost?

    im considering backing up my entire system, anyone know the compression rate on the backup?

    dont really want to use 60Gb worth of cds! :fawk:

    It depends on what you have on the drive. If you have a 60gb text file with all T's in it, it will compress quite nicely. If you have all Zips, MPEGs, and MP3s, not very well at all.

    Most of the time on a server I get about 2:1 (not counting free space, which ghost ignores).
